My work computer was recently upgraded to windows On previous version I used a 3rd party software to extend the taskbar onto 2nd monitor. I liked that ONLY those active tasks displayed on the 2nd monitor, since I do not want icons for tasks opened on primary monitor displaying on both monitors, Is there some way to only have the active tasks display on the secondary monitor.

I do not need the start search and task view displayed in taskbar of each monitor nor do i need the tasks opened in primary monitor displayed in taskbar of secondary monitor.

I generally have many apps running and it is helpful to only have the icons for open tasks displaying on secondary monitor. This thread is locked.
